I'm Jett Ulysses!
I'm a writer, independent director, voice actor and illustrator based bi-coastally in NYC & LA.
I have experience with both narrative and experimental animation, and I'm currently available for work on freelance or part time projects in animation, comics & illustration, video games, music videos or voice acting.
I love tabletop RPGs, ghosts, jewel tones, mixed media, and tea.

I believe that at the heart of any good visual piece of media is a solid story. when mapping out plots-- whether they be in the form of scripts or otherwise-- I value emotional depth, realism in dialogue, entertaining pacing, and thoughtful world-building.
I am a strong proponent of character driven narratives, with each story beat not happening by chance, but instead being guided by the unique decisions of the people within them.
While I create in a wide range of genres targeted at multiple different demographics, I specialize in human stories told through a fictional, often fantastical lens.
I am first and foremost a screenwriter, but am also well versed in prose, comics, plays and video game scripts.
My films have been globally honored as finalists in the Taiwan International Student Design Competition, as well as official selections for WIA NYC, the open world animation festival in Pennsylvania, and the dilemma short film selection in Cluj, Romania.
I am currently in the process of obtaining a BFA in animation at SVA, and I graduated as a California Arts Scholar from CSSSA in 2022.
My previous clients include Pinreel inc., RIT's Game Sovereign Showdown, and a multitude of animated short films.
